Today I bought my first phantom powered mic. It's a Se Voodoo VR2. I forgot and unplugged it before turning phantom power off. Is it a REALLY bad thing to do? Any of you did this before? I tried it again and it seems like it works but I'm still worried.

Hello, I have a Laney 212R guitar amp. It has two power modes, one is 15W, other one is 1W (in fact "<1W"). Is loudness the only difference between them? Or 15W supposed to sound better? I can't really tell if it's better or just louder. Is there anything wrong with recording with the 1W input...

I have a RME Babyface Pro and I'm thinking about getting a Shure SM7b. I don't have a preamp atm. Do you think it's worth to buy it without a pre? Babyface Pro has decent clean pres and 76 db gain. Anyone used a sm7 with this interface only? Thank you. :)
