Well, as far as mic placement, place that mic about 6 inches to 1 foot away from the 12th fret of the guitar. I do this with a Behringer B-1 and my Epiphone EJ-160 and it sounds like a million bucks. Not sure what it'll sound like with your setup, but give it a try.
