My studio is basically in a a rec room used specifically for recording sessions...theres a relaxing area, the studio(controlls), and a dead room for vocals and miced instruments..like acoustics and mandolins,ect...Take a look at my workstation and tell me what you think is wrong with it..cause...

Hey, Any ideas on micing a drum kit with 3 mics...Placement, type of mics, ect. My studio has DW DRUMS 6 piece kit with Zildjian, and Sabian Cymbols. with a pearl maple snare. cymbols are a custom A 17" crash, 6 inch splash, 20 inch sabian ride, mastersound hats, and a zildjian china.

Anyone know about sample rates...I do country music in nashville tennessee in my house...and recorded a session with 24 bit 96k sample rate...and it seems to limit my plug-ins and eat my CPU POWER of my 64 bit processor...for country music recordings i usually record about 15 to 20 maybe 25...
