    Power supply voltages. Lexicon Omega

Hi guys, Just bought a used Lexicon Omega. Came with a 9VDC 1a power supply. Constant bad hum when I plugged it in. So, I'm doing some inspection and thought i'd try a different power supply. Then I noticed the Omega's power input says 9VAC 1300mA. So here's the thing. It powered up and...

    Video in Reaper

Corel's Video Studio is pretty good and not to expensive. Video Editing Software I think I would use the video feature in Reaper to layout the sound track and then import that audio into Video Studio for the final video production. Mike

Ibanez IMG2010 Guitar Controller - Owner Registry

This guitar synthesizer controller was built in the mid 1980's and there were only 500 made. I've put together a web page where owners of this fine instrument can register their names and possibly find others to share information. If you have one of these you can register here. Or just stop by...

Autotuning a lot of vocals, what do you think about it?

"It really is amazing to think that, back in the 50s and earlier, those people recorded those amazing performances completely live in one take. (I mean, they did numerous takes obviously, but the final take was one continuous performance.) The talent that takes is truly remarkable and, IMO...

    Embarrassing question about MIDI

Search for "Free VST" and fins some synth instruments that will play the MIDI information. Very easy to set up in Reaper. I played with lots of freebies before I bought any VST instruments. Mike

    Reaper 3.75

Yep! Been using Reaper for over 1 year. Former Cakewalk/Sonar Studio user. Reaper is easier and more reliable. It just doesn't feel bloated. Their user forum is great. Lots of people eager to help. The trial software is not crippled in any way and The pricing is more than fair. I bought it...

    Mic recommendation for recording voice.

"Besides...you're not going to lick the mic." How can you be sure :) The MXL V67G should be plenty of mic for what I need and a new one was well within my budget. Mike

Those who use a MXL 67g, How do i get the best sound results?

After reading a bunch of threads where "Pre Amp" comes up, I believe that if you dont spend $400+ for a good quality pre amp for "Vocals", your going to get some hiss or muffled frequencies. Mike

    Mic recommendation for recording voice.

@Richard Monroe: Thanks for taking the time to write such a very descriptive post. Some good information. I appreciate the info about the companies I've never heard of. After reading thru all of this and a bunch of other posts, then looking on the mfg's web site, I settled on a MXL V67G. Lots...

    12ax7 substutute

I was not impresswith the sound quality of the Behringer Mic2200. After only having it for a week and changing to another tube, I heard no difference in the quality of the output. Leading me to believe it's the quality of the SS circuitry that's lacking. I immediatle sold it for what I paid for...
