Yes, the KA6 only has two buttons (on/off and mono/stereo) and a volume knob for monitoring.

That is what really confused me. It's not supposed to do direct monitoring, but then i get the pre-DAW (direct monitor?) signal along with the post-DAW signal with DAW monitoring. I would do that, but that then I loose all of the goodness of the dbx. :|
