Just want to say thanks to all those who
replied to my post on getting started in recording. Today I just burned my first music
CD and it played very well on my stereo system. A little hiss in some areas but not
bad at all. I couldn't have done it without
all of your help.....Thanks again...
Ok here goes,
I am recording or trying to, from my cassette deck wich is hooked up to my pc.
At first I had the line out left and right
from my deck going to my pc line in sound
card with a y adapter joining the L/R prongs
from the deck. I didnt realize the adapter at the end had only one...

I downloaded Goldwave, its very good. However
my sound only comes out of one speaker. Here is how I have it set up.
Cassette deck line out is connected to my
line in sound card. My pc speakers are plug in as usual to the out line for speakers.
I get a ver good playback recording, no
distortion...
