Did you read the Manual? I haven't tried myself I just use MD to keep a beat but I remember when they were getting it all together everyone was saying how good they were & they say they're the most sampled drums & I remember Sulieman did tons of work as he is a drum freak?. :)

It's probably to do with window focus while you're 'paused' it thinks there's more to come but when you 'stop' it knows you're finished?, not sure I explained it well but I think that's it?. :o
