    Audio-technica AT4050 - pops and crackles

    I've got an Audio Technica mic that crackles and pops terribly anytime I move the mic stand or adjust/touch it in any way (even though it's shock mounted). I tried different XLR cables in case it might be a bad cable but still have the issue. Once it's "sitting still" it records just fine...

    Can't hear mic in headphones

    All, I am pretty new to this but I have a yamaha mg124cx that I am record vocals with. I can hear the backing track in my headphones and the vocals get recorded ok, but i can't hear the vocals in the headphones while I am recording them live. I don't know why or what to do. Any suggestions...
