So has any one used the new N-Track 6? I bought the V 5, but hated it, and went back to using V 4. I'm always looking for a better sound engine. Any info will be appreciated. :confused:

I'm upgrading my computer, and I need a midi compatible soundcard, and I was looking at Sound Blaster X-Fi elite pro. Has anyone used it, and are they satisified with the soundcard. I have currently soundblaster live, for the midi sounds, and use an echo mia soundcard which I'm happy with, but...

N-tracks OK, start with new song save it as, Lets call it "Hello" . You make a folder called "Hello", and that way there, you go to the hello folder and open up your song. Depending on how many tracks you have, and how many parts in one track, they'll all be there in the folder called "Hello" ...

deleting song files in N-track I use n-track all the time. When I start a song, I make a folder, name that song, this way you don't have to search all through the n-tracks main folder. When you're done, just delete that song folder. I also make folders inside folders, and delete what is...

voicelive Thanks everyone that has given feedback. I've been doing more research, and its recording partners, voicepro, or voiceworks, seem to be what I was looking for. Supposedly it warms up the vocals, as well as compresses them, plus harmony. fizer :D

So has anyone used any TC-HELICON products, such as voicelive. Its expensive but seems the vocals are greatly enhanced, and the price may just be worth it. :confused: fizer

vocal processers I checked out your song "ido1957" I like it. It does sound great. good guitar in there also. thanks for your tip. :D

So anyone use these expensive vocal processors that are out there? Are they any good? What do you suggest. What about the vocal processor software, which is a lot less expensive, do they do as good a job? :rolleyes:

noise I upgraded to an echo mia sound card from soundblaster live, with a good mxl 603 mic, and an art tube mp. Terrible hum noise recording vocals. Worse than with my soundblaster live. So my advice is, because I'm stuck with all this equipment, and not knowing how to get rid of the hiss in...

re fan noise Fan noise was my concern, if it is, other than going to a quiter fan right away, how can I test it? Can I unplug the fans for a short time? fizer :cool:
