    Roland XP-80 vs Yamaha EX-5

    the xp-80 is a very nice synth but the yamaha beats it my EX-5 is one of my most widely used keyboards second only to my triton. it is a very powerful synth that blows away alot of keyboards and i would recamend it to anyone.

    check this out You also might want to research getting a midi contoler and connecting it to your pc, you could have thousands of sounds and there is very good sequencing software that you can buy. and here's another bonus if you don't have a pro sound card it doesn't matter, the joystick plug...

    i used my closet and put carpet padding all over the walls it sounds absolutly dead. it works better then most iso boths that ive worked with(is that a good thing or bad thing). but there anothet idea for you.

    Studio Design

    what yo could do is pad the room and then add the reverb effects when you have it recorded, that would save you money and time. if you had reverb on the vocals when you record it, and then after the mixdown you decide you dont want it youll have to do it all over.

    the pedals are cool but i dont think it will give you sound you want. but go head and get one any ways and see what you can do. i havnt played with that keyboard in a while.
