Hello everyone, i need a little advice from anyone who can give it. i have a budget around $30,000 for my personal production studio, and i wanted some opinions on what modules i should get on top of the ones that i have on my list already, and please tell me if ive made some incorect choices...

yeah i figured either $300,000 to $500,000 i think that to many channels for what im trying to acomplish anyways so i think im going to go with the D8B, thanks for your help.

Hey thanks for the advice and i have another quick question for anyone what is the cleanest sounding and all around best digital console you've ever seen,heard or worked with.

the xp-80 is a very nice synth but the yamaha beats it my EX-5 is one of my most widely used keyboards second only to my triton. it is a very powerful synth that blows away alot of keyboards and i would recamend it to anyone.

Can i mic a bass drum with a shure 58, and can i use my condensoner mic for overhead or ambience recordings of the drums.

try a Zoom rythem track 234 they have very versitile drums and basses.

i used my closet and put carpet padding all over the walls it sounds absolutly dead. it works better then most iso boths that ive worked with(is that a good thing or bad thing). but there anothet idea for you.

what yo could do is pad the room and then add the reverb effects when you have it recorded, that would save you money and time. if you had reverb on the vocals when you record it, and then after the mixdown you decide you dont want it youll have to do it all over.

can some one give me some tips on how to record in apregio mode on this keyboard. i want to combind it with a patern i made if i can do that.

the pedals are cool but i dont think it will give you sound you want. but go head and get one any ways and see what you can do. i havnt played with that keyboard in a while.
