It's really sad, nothing wrong with the 2496. It's absolutely the most reliable and trouble free piece of computer hardware I have ever owned. Wish high end MOBO's offered PCI!
I'm building a new computer and it seems most new modern Motherboards have only PCI-express. So I'm forced to retire my trusty M-Audio 2496.
Any suggestions what I should replace it with?
I currently have Sonar 4 and was thinking of getting a newer sonar version.
