    Masterlink 9600 speed problem

    I record and play multi track through a DM4800 @ 48000 and 24 bit. Then I mix down to my masterlink 9600 software v 3. It renders the song for redbook, I assume converting it 44100 and 16 bit. If I playback the rendered copy or the CD I just made, it plays back sped up. If I play that sane CD...

    I have an X48 to replace my MSR16, using a Mackie 24*8 board, can anyone explain the -9, -14, -16, -18 or -20dBfs I/O levels and which I should be using. I am only familiar with-10 and +4 levels. Ron Copsetta
