    Chord name entry

    Besides Band-in-a-Box, is there another MIDI software environment that will accept chord/bass names (i.e., C-Dm7-Gsus4-G-C) and allow assignment of specific sounds. What about ProTools (or a plugin for ProTools). I use version 8 on a Mac. Thanks in advance for your input. Jerry C.

    Things have changed since I last was into MIDI (about 10 years ago). What are the functions of all the knobs, faders, encoders, etc. that adorn so many of the mid- to upper-priced controllers on the market today? Thanks in advance for enlightening me.

    Digi 002 input level problem

    Using TRS cable I have connected the balanced main outputs of my Carvin SM162 analog mixer to balanced line inputs on the Digi 002 (set to +4 dBu input level).
