i own an ev n/d767 and think that its a good mic to start with, especially on vocals. also its a good sturdy build and you could probably knock nails in with the thing, which is useful if like me you have the ocassional drunk mishap.

the recording sounds pretty sweet, but im not into this type of stuff so i cant make a judgement. who would actually buy this type of music? what are you aiming for? or are you just following your heart? Please explain more what you are trying to achieve.
