How do I sound like Stephen Stills (Sweet Judy Blue Eyes)?

I would like to have that sound with my own guitar. It sounds like he is using something that sounds like a phaser. I'd like my own sound, but that really sounds full and I was wondering if anyone knew his setup back then. Thanks.:guitar: I'm not talking about the tuning or strings. I was...

A little old fashion, but hoping for some help. Br1180 studio

I was just hoping I could get my Dr-670 properly hooked up to my digital studio. I tried with the manual, but not sure if it is possible. I have the midi cables. I've used it before on recordings hooked up to the instrument input, but wanted to do it the correct way. If anyone knows how to...

    Shure sm85

How do you feel about the sm85 compared to the sterling audio st51 recording guitar on amps. I've heard the shure 57 is good, but trying to record on a budget. I already own the sm 85 with and recorded vocals, but still haven't really captured the sound I want. Still a beginner as far as...

    BR-1180cd broken

Any advice for fixing the br-1180cd. I was trying to backup my hard drive when it broke on the fourteenth cd. I guess I should of backed up the song after each recording. Is this signs that I need to replace my hard drive. I have to pull out the plug in order to turn it off and it's stuck...

    About the BR-1180???

As far as mixing down songs goes. After you mix down the tracks and put it on the master track can you hear the song like the demos songs. Using tracks 1-8? By listening to a track separate from other tracks. -Man I'd call Roland/Boss, but just wanted to see if anyone knew.

Recording on the BR-1180 with the shure SM 85.

How would you rate this mic for recording vocals or acoustic. Also do you need the stewart phantom power box if you have phantom power on the 1180. I think it's a condenser and was curious what you think. -Man

    Boss Pedals

I own a boss digital delay pedal and an octave pedal. Both have been good to me over the years, but now the pedals have broke. Is there any advice as far as fixing them goes without taking them to the shop? Thanks. Man.

    As far as mic's go

I've used phantom power, but I really don't know how much difference it makes. I want my mics and my guitar to have a punchy sound, but still unsure about it. I've looked at the manual, but still need help as far as getting a good sound. Thanks. Man.

New to the home recording site.

I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a way to set up sony stereo speakers as monitors for the BR-1180cd. The back of the speakers are just take wiring. If I hook it up somehow to a sony tuner is it possible or something??? Also can anyone recommend a good microphone for vocals on the...
