How would you connect a compressor to a portastudio like either one of these??? First, while tracking, then to put between the unit itself and a mixdown source??? :confused:

I was just wondering if it's alright to use 60min Type I blank tapes to record onto in a 4 track, since finding type II tapes in a 60 min format is sometimes difficult. Thanks!!! :cool:

Ok, I was wondering if anyone here has ever purchased equipment/gear internationally. For example, ordering American products such as a Tascam 4 track or a Zoom drum machine but using them in the U.K. I know there's the plug adaptor issue but what about voltage conversion, or does that matter...

Ok, this is just out of PURE curiosity. If I had an acoustic guitar that was just too boomy, humor me, would putting spongy foam inside it help or what, I mean, even if the alleged boomy guitar was just, say, ooooooh, Hypothetical and I just wanted to know what it would sound like if I crammed...

I would like to know what you guys think about the Zoom MRS 802 unit. It's a digital 8 track recorder with lots of onboard extras. Anybody use this one before, does it do a good job, pros & cons??? Any help and info given is greatly appreciated!!! :cool:
