    Stereo Panning Effects?

Ahh, thanks a lot Chili & Mr. Clean! I actually looked through my manual earlier but I didn't really know what I was looking for; I still don't quite know all the terminology. Chapter 16 is under Automation & Envelopes in my manual, I wouldn't have known that was relevant! Thanks again ^.^

    Stereo Panning Effects?

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone knows how to create some sort of stereo panning effect with Reaper, or, whether or not there's other software that can achieve this effect! What I mean by "stereo panning effect" (for lack of a better term) is this: I want to get the sound from a mono audio...

Time Signature Messing up my Audio!

Hey all, I know this has been asked before, but the solution didn't work for me, and since it was in 2010 Reaper has changed a bit and so I couldn't follow the instructions because some of the options were different. Basically, I have a song with some time signature changes (from 3/4 to 4/4...

Can't Record MONO with MIC IN R (TASCAM)!

Interesting, so the only way to get a mono recording of, say, my guitar with two mics is via stereo, and then afterwards switch the output to mono?

Can't Record MONO with MIC IN R (TASCAM)!

Derp. So, that worked! I can record mono with the right side now, however, it would seem that I can only select mono inputs 'L' OR 'R' only, not both at the same time! Though, I suppose that's not a big deal seeing as I can just drag and drop a stereo recording onto a mono track, and so I'm...

Can't Record MONO with MIC IN R (TASCAM)!

Hey guys, I've noticed that when I try to record MONO with my TASCAM US-122 MKII using the MIC IN R or even the Line in/Guitar in (right side) I'm unable to record any sounds at all. It IS picking up sounds, because the input signal is lighting up, and I can hear it through the monitor...

    Live Wire & "Cancerous chemicals"

This is good news, Thanks guys! I feel much more re-assured than yesterday. In fact, I kind of want to take a break from thinking about doing my homework, and make some music! Be well.

Cubase LE 5 & Audacity Effects?

Ah, I see. Thanks for the reply!

Cubase LE 5 & Audacity Effects?

Hello all, I'm curious to know whether or not I can somehow use effects from Audacity (e.g. Bass Boost, Paulstretch, Noise Removal, etc...) in Cubase LE 5. I could just export an audio track from Cubase, load it onto Audacity, use the effect, and then export that once again to finally re-load...

    Live Wire & "Cancerous chemicals"

Haha, thanks for the reply. They seem like they could be pretty tasty; that might be a hard impulse to resist. I suppose it's nothing to worry about, I searched the web and found nothing... I'm still not completely comforted by the idea, but what can ya' do!? I'm off to record, I'll let you...

    Live Wire & "Cancerous chemicals"

Hey guys, I just received some equipment that I ordered from musician's friend, and I was just reading the manuals and whatnot that came with all the products, and I noticed a fine-print warning on the Live Wire microphone cables (XLR) I bought saying: "This product may contain a chemical(s)...

Cubase LE 5 & Drum loops

Hey guys! I posted this on the Steinberg forum, but it doesn't seem to be as active as Home Recording so I'll ask here :) How the heck do I use drum loops? I can find plenty of videos talking about how to work with Groove Agent One, and etc... but I can't find these programs at all! I've...

    Interface Recommendations, anyone?

Interesting... Thank you, Jimmy; that was very helpful. I'm probably going to go for the Yamaha, then, mostly for the reasons I listed above (e.g. the gain and other controls for each individual input). Plus I have a lot of Yamaha equipment already, and I've been very satisfied with their stuff...

    Interface Recommendations, anyone?

I see. Well, if worst comes to worst I don't see an issue with recording my instruments first, and then recording vocals on top of that afterwards. I'm a student so I have a pretty inflexible budget, thus unfortunately, I don't really have much options. I could get an interface with more inputs...
