I think it sounds incredible. However, can you share with me your STUDIO recordings made on the 80-8 in the '70s? Live recordings always have a different sound from studio recordings, and 1970s studio recordings made on the 80-8 is more what I'm after. Something more like Zokalo. Thanks a lot.

I found a solution. Go to page 2 of my website: Richard King Media | Media Conversions and Location Recording Services You will find a song that I engineered in 1976-77 or so on my 80-8. This band was MUCH more famous than Zokalo (a great band) with a song that sold millions. This is a LIVE concert recording of his hotest hit song. Take a listen and enjoy. The 80-8 was hauled in the back of my Datsun 510 station wagon to a local bar to do the recording. Let me know what you think of the recording once you hear it.
