Mix is really quite good and balanced for what the piece is - but some of the notes just need to be hit a little more on point.

Oh, sorry... everything on this one was recorded through mics, except my guitar, which was DI. I like DI on the guitar, because it gives me the option of singing along. I didn't sing along on this one. I recorded the guitar first, and the vocal afterward. If I had a recording studio and a recording engineer, I'd record guitar through an amp while I sang along through a mic. I don't have that. But do any of you? I bet not.

You still can, if you can deal with the bleed and lack of control. Of course you can mitigate this by using the right type of mics and do the right placement of them. There is no vocal bleed on my amp mics, but there is some guitar bleed in my vocal tracks due to the figure 8 pattern of the cab mic (Royer) and the placement in the room. It's very little though, it's not like the vocal compressor would respond to it.
