Hello again everyone!

Have you ever dreamed about a great song that didn't exist only to completely forget it after waking up? It can be a bummer, and it happened to me before in the past...but THIS time, after recently dreaming about one that I subconsciously created in the dream, I realized I was dreaming and woke up determined to reconstruct the song and complete it in real life before all memory of the dream completely vanished.

The entire process took over 24 hours to complete, but I'm satisfied enough with the results. Given the nature of this entire experience among other factors, I named the final completed composition---Ephemeral Potentiality.

Hello again everyone!

Since I've been living in Asia for quite a while now and have learned the language, I decided to create an alternative version of the song. After 4 straight hours of trying to coordinate and sing everything as I intended, I'm finally pleased to release the Chinese version of Ephemeral Potentiality.

Hello again everyone!

This is the 3rd language version of the song! It took me around 2.5 hours to finish the singing, as I had to take a somewhat different approach to how to control my breathing whilst also trying my best not to wake up my neighbors, lol. Now without further ado, I present to you all the Spanish version of Ephemeral Potentiality.

I really like this song!
Hey OSHC, thank you so very much for taking the time to listen to my music! I really appreciate your comment, and I'm glad that you enjoyed the song! ?

Today, I'm proud to release the last multi-language version of the song!

This is the 4th (and FINAL) language version of the song! It took me around 1 hour to practice and another hour to finish the singing, as I had to take several different approaches with this language in order to keep it in line with the song. Now without further ado, I present to you all the Dutch version of Ephemeral Potentiality.

? Making these multi-language versions took quite a bit of effort, and I'm curious as to which version(s) do YOU like the best?

I hope that you all can enjoy, and thanks for listening! ?

The instruments aren't strong enough - the vocals are pitchy and problematic - nothing really stands out (I Think) in the way you want them to stand out.

I'm glad that you also enjoyed the Dutch version! That version was actually quite tricky to get just right, but after 2 straight hours of practice and preparation, I was able to sing it to the point where I was satisfied. ?

Thanks for the feedback! ?

I use GarageBand on iOS (iPhone/iPad) to make my music nowadays, which is a massive upgrade from my old iOS DAW. It takes a lot of time (and a bit cumbersome) for me to find the specific instrument/instrumental sounds that I particularly like for a particular song idea due to how huge and varied the instruments selection is, so I usually go with the instrument(s) that produce sounds closer to my ideal sound after I find them in the app...and that's goes even if the sound quality isn't as high as other instruments; I'd at least have a sound that's closer to the ideal one I was thinking in my mind. Then finally, I'd put it/them to use as best as I could moving forward with the composition. This is likely one of the reasons why the instruments I used for Ephemeral Potentiality may not sound as strong as the more modern mainstream professionally produced songs.

As for the vocals, I also sing directly into my iPad/iPhone's built-in microphone. While I also agree that the vocals throughout all versions of the songs are not perfect and have their own problems here and there, I did put in a lot of effort trying to sing them (did over 100 vocal retakes between all versions) to the point of satisfaction whilst also trying to keep my voice as "contained" as possible, as I didn't want to disturb my neighbors that live on the other side of my room's thin walls, lol. Someone else who also heard the song once suggested that I maybe try auto-tune, but I'm a bit too old-fashioned and just want to stick to the more natural human voice approach, even if it means that I gotta get better at singing in general.

All in all, I work with what I have and try to make the best out of it in order to produce satisfactory results. After all, I've always made music as a hobby just for fun and memories mainly.
