七層Automaton - Church music turned Techno

Hello again everyone!
I'm pleased to announce my 1st new original song release of this new year 2025! ?



Believe it or not, but I was initially going for a church music theme with this project, but I wasn't satisfied with the results, so I kept experimenting until I transformed the entire essence of the song, which resulted in the birth of this new techno piece. The fully translated name of the song is "Seven Layer Automaton", which I named based on the 7 networks layers that I learned in Computer Science class back in my college days, lol.

Your song is Mixed well - but I’m at a loss on what it is exactly? If I was to guess I would say it’s transition piece in a movie
where the characters are gathering and building a tool to defeat someone - as a listening piece I’ll be honest I’m bore after 30 seconds.

Haha, thank you very much for taking the time to listen to the song, and also for the awesome comments! Your visualization of such a scenario is quite interesting and full of imagination, in fact, a lot of the music I make has some kind of story behind it or some kind of intended theme surrounding it. In the case of this song, it may be a bit deep for the general public, but I'll try to briefly explain it on a basic level:

Aside from my hobby of making music, I am also a computer programmer (developer). Back in my college days learning Computer Science, we had to learn the 7 network layers of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model...so since I decided to make this song "七層Automaton" (Translated: Seven Layer Automaton), I also decided to subtly and thematically 'parse' the concept into the song as well. Henceforth throughout the song, an automaton is systematically breaking / 'hacking' its way through the 7 OSI Network Layers one by one, which by the time the song ends, it would have succeeded in its mission.

A bit geeky, but it was right up my alley, lol. ?

To be honest, I rarely make techno music (last time I made a techno song was around 12 years ago), but due to a failed church music project attempt, this new song emerged from the ashes in its stead, lol.
