I like that song, but this morning on laptop I cant hear no bass.

on this miniscule crap laptop 0.35inch speakers...however on commercial mixed I can.

and No, I dont use a subwoofer anymore...(dont use anything much anymore).
My subwoofer system is long gone, and Im back to standard pair. I never had the room for all the bass.
my genre is probably so old like 60's...weird.

get you some fruityloops and rap, you dont need no bass and di...just a mic and vocoder plug...that shit will shake your cars bolts loose.

smell the glove.

Again using the bass from that VBass thing. I dunno.

way too loud. ... .and sucks.

Here is that Line 6 Bass Pod. It makes an ok bass. I let it drone at the end..You can run your voice throught it..At least thats what the manual says.

Vocals went through it. Whatever.

This is nicely clean in the lows.

A great rule of thumb concerning DI boxes....

Active will ALWAYS sound cleaner than even that most expensive passive box with a Jensen transformer in it.
?

There is no questioning the science in that regard.
Im questioning it..
BUT...............on a bass guitar? I doubt you will notice the phase shift on a Jensen, but on an acoustic guitar, keyboards, etc.....yup, the transformer, no matter how good, is going to "color" and distort the sound. In a pleasing way? Possibly, but you can't bank on it.
Line 6 banks on it.
Even the lowly Behringer DI1000 will produce stellar sound! I cannot hear the difference in active DI's. But,
Behringer is garbage. Anything after 1994 is garbage...Also, minimize exposure to made in China equipment.
he best bang for the buck active DI's I have dealt with is the................. 1 channel for about $60. Stereo box for about $90. You can drive a tank over them. They sound great.
Hey man, I just got off Mercaris, two used fantastic rack buys for $85. Some shipping and tax...but...I got a Line 6 Bass POD PRO XT + Line 6 Guitar POD PRO + And a FBV express foot effects control...both/all for $85. Not a scratch on any of it. Like new..

The Bass POD PRO XT is awesome and have recommended that bass preamp for years...The guitar pod pro is .. whatever..That Bass XT is the shizee! Tons of bass models and amps and SYNTHS! Very useful.

With a L6 wah pedal..$85 bucks...guitar bass and pedal...Good sound. I guess there is just no market for it..

dang, sweeeet deal for $85.

theres a market, they sell around $200 each approx. +/-$30.....thats a wild deal, $85 for $400 gear.

ive a rack setup and prefer it, a couple times went for the smaller pieces like small desk interface and pedals but the rack is nice....

a little hardware over plugins is fast way to lay down some tracks too.

you nailed both. $85 for both! youre lucky day.

...with like $60 shipping. some tax. Mencari's or something. It was like ebay or craigs list. The foot FBV Express pedal was in a separated box too.

It was a nice deal, though I rather it had both XT's bass and guitar for USB DI 96Kb recording. The guitar one is older model with limited effects and quality no USB for future PC support.

Figuring that so many newer models have come out since then. Obsolete? Pod X3 has guitar/bass/mics in one.. Like the ole UX2 that started my digital recording journey...Do the kids want a 2 ft square rack box to lug around..or blue tooth their Les Paul to cyber gear in the cloud?
