Since this post is registering as your first post, my guess is that you never actually started the thread.
 
He is indeed correct. I sort of remember the thread and its remains can be found in a Google search, although opens to the same error as the link provided.

What he means is...your previous post at the start of this thread shows as your Post #1 for this this site...so there was nothing before it ever posted by you.
You may have started to write a thread but then never posted it.

Anyway...instead of trying to figure out what happened...just start a thread with whatever it is you need to ask. :)

No it did go live because there where about half a dozen replies.
If the mods did remove it then there is no point in starting a new one

Honest question here: Was there any apparent reason you can think of that might have caused a mod to remove the post???

It's ba-ack. I'll leave to people with way more time on their hands than I have to deal with a thread about recording karaoke tunes in a van on a laptop using Audacity.... seriously guys.

Well, one of my favourite Jackson Browne tracks was recorded on a tour bus using a cardboard box as a bass drum...it that close enough?

Seriously...I'm so glad the mods re-posted that thread...recording karaoke in your car while singing along to it and video taping everything...is a hot topic.
This is where the future of recording is going, and we should explore the technology, the skill-set and the audio quality aspects so that the bar can be raised to its highest levels...not to mention also the video side, which is every bit as important, since YouTube will never accept anything sub-par, as they too have very high quality standards.

Now where is that thread...I've got a lot of reading to do.
