Hi me musical friends! I have a question you will most likely find funny. Well....here goes..Can a midi controller plug into a Yamaha keyboard and improve the sounds? I don't use the P.C. For any recording because I'm old(?) school.

No, you cannot make the sounds generated by the keyboard any better but if it has a MIDI input and you have a controller with a MIDI output you could run the kbd from it. Not sure what, if any advantage there would be? But I am old! I use a PC for messing with sound! (not a musician)

Do me a favour? Download a free program called Pianoteq (Modartt.com) and run the trial. You will hear wonderful piano sound. There are shedloads of such apps that can give you drums and just about any instrument you can think of....Some are even for free!
