This is a really cool tune, and the performances are top notch. Vocals are killer, and most of the tones sound great as well. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the drums---the snare in particular. It sounds pretty dull to me, with very little snare wires sound. It almost sounds as though the snares aren't even on. Maybe this was the sound you were going for? Anyway, other than that, I think it sounds awesome. Thanks for sharing this one!
 
Glad this tune got bumped. I haven't heard any of your material yet. This is really cool! The song is really infectious. Really well crafted with awesome musical and vocal hooks.

You have already alluded to the boxiness and that you're going to work it, although it would probably benefit the track much more to adjust this in the mix instead of in the master. The roominess of the drums is contributing to the boxiness in the mix, so once you make those adjustments, the general vibe of the drums may change in a way that ends with you wishing you could do more work with other instruments individually. Maybe. The again, maybe a 2 bus tweak gets ya there. What do I know? In any event, I'd really like to hear an updated version with that taken care of.

Okay, so I have had this song on a loop and I've listened probably 5 times through. This is awesome. I really, really like this track.
 
Yeah, glad that this got bumped. Since this is a few months old post, I won't bother you with suggestions on the mix. Freaking cool song! Nice trashy post-punk kind of thing, I really like it.

Next time you mix it down, go for a higher bitrate mp3, the high end on this mixdown is swishy from being way down at 128kbps.
 
Wonderful song!! Impressive!! I really dig the drum sound. Very natural. Not very usual these days.
The 2 minute mark until the end is my favorite section. Really really well done!!

Sounds excellent. Didn't read through all the other stuff, so this all may have been covered. The 400-500 will be good.
Vocal is a bit low. Remove some of the effect or raise it just a bit. It sounds awesome, though. In the 1:48-1:56 area the vocals have a distortion overload or something. Scratchy noise in the bacgound...but I can't say what I'm hearing in words. It exists all the way through, but it really is dominant at that point.
Great drum tones throughout. Cymbals get a bit on your ears toward the end. Maybe drop 8k down a bit during all the crash-crash.
Nothing that really distracts except the vocal hiss-overdrive/clip/distortion thing.

Ah, I see. Tad's got the answer. It's the bitrate that's messing with the vocals...:) :cool:
Probably why the cymbals sound too swishy at the end, too!
 
Really great tune man.
I liked it a lot.

I've read some other comments about the abrupt beginig. I tell that it was what got my attention from the first second.
The singing is pretty awesome and it's a really original song

There's always going to be something that could be improved on from either your own, or someone else's perspective. But who cares.
Real solid well crafted tune. I liked it.
