That sums it up! Life's a circle not a line right. Caught in a loop.

Cool newie RAMI.
Love the lead tone and harmonies.
No pint mentioning the rhythm section as it's by RAMI.
Denial...
I do remember a significant change when you finished treating your space.
Is that a Peavey amp?
just 9 years ago but sounds cool & way better than any mix I've managed.

Thanx a lot Ray. I'm turning into a wah wah addict. :D

On those old tunes I posted, I can't remember if I had the Peavey 9 years ago. It's either Peavey, or it's a Yamaha DG Stomp Pedal. Actually, for a while, I used both. I had the DG Stomp going into the back of the Peavey, and then just using the Peavey's speaker and micing that. Don't remember which one of those I was doing at the time.

I thought this was a remake of the theme from the show Firefly  (Serenity)

Never heard of it. It's a nod to Seinfeld if anything. "Serenity Now!!!" is a classic line from the show. I had it in my head and decided to make a song from it, even though the song doesn't really have anything to do with it beyond the phrase itself.

Man great tune RAMI. Very Tight and great performances and vocals. I can't say a negative thing about it.

Hard rocker that sounds great man. Sweet lead work too. I like the harmony/back ground vocals. I wish I could figure out how to get sounds like that. Every time I try it ends up sounding like ass lol.

Thanx Phil. We all do what we do best. If I tried doing some metal or country, I'm pretty sure someone would start a petition to get me kicked off the internet. :D

Mix sounds good. I got nothing for you there.

What are the effects on the lead? At first it sounded like a regular wah, but further into the song it sounded like an auto wah or an envelope filter or something. You know on the more staccato parts where the note turns into a percussive sort if bwop bwop sound? I couldn't imagine doing that with an expression pedal...almost sounds like an octave effect at times too? I dunno, it's an interesting tone....very thick. Might sound cooler with (more?) reverb though?

Hey thanx a lot, Heat.

You're pretty close about the guitar, but it is me playing a real wah. Not being a guitar player, I probably play it more like a drummer. I knew what I wanted for most of the parts, but I wasn't quite sure how to play with the wah in the "solo" or break. It's not my forte, but I love the sound of a wah.

In that same solo or break part, I added the octaver.

I don't tend to put reverb on guitar other than a little bit of the same reverb that's on the drums, just to get them in the same "room" (which is pretty funny since they were already recorded in the same room:D).

Thanx dude. :)

Wah! Wah! Wah! Bunch of Crybabys.

I REALLY like Broken Borders. If you redo this one, I'd be interested in hearing the new version.

Your playing and mixing just keeps getting better. :envy: :jealous: (when do we get our new emoticons???) I still want the :manic laughter: one as well. :)

Thanx a lot brother.

Nah, you can have it for $5. In fact, I'll send YOU $5 to take it off my hands. :D

I'd have to change the chorus, because I realized that "I'm breaking borders in my mind" is pretty close to the melody as Grand Funk's "I'm getting closer to my home".....LOL.

SOK, I just got through with the initial run-through on my newest song and was listening and the intro guitar solo sounds EXACTLY like the beginning of the solo in Stairway to Heaven... guess I played that too much when I was 16....but I didn't play the guitar then??? Just started jamming with the thing on loop and it came out of one of the loops and I liked it a lot, until I actually HEARD what I'd played. :)

Hey RAMI.
Digging this man. Some of it's quite different to many of the tracks I've heard from you.
The straight forward full sounding rhythm is really cool, but there's still plenty of that tight RAMI funk stuff later on. :)

Wah lead sounds cool as! Just blends in and out seamlessly.

Vocal, as always, sounds smashing to me. I'd like to hear a little more of it, but I think that's a recurring theme. It's probably just me.

STEEN'S GETTING UPSET!!
