This time I sang a German song by Revolverheld. The song is called "Ich lass für dich das Licht an". (in English: I leave the light on for you) It's kind of a love song.
What do you think of it? Do you like it?!




My parents are always telling me to go to the show "The Voice" but I'm not sure. I don't think I'm good enough, I'm really bad at judging myself. Should I try it or do you think this would be embarrassing?

I hearing something funny going on with the soundcloud stream, not sure if it is my machine, you might want to recheck the conversion. Vocals need to come up to hear the vocals better.

Other than the glitch in the recording and vocals, sounded really good.

Whether you get on one of those singing shows isn't necessarily about how good you are, a lot of it is what they decide they're looking for. For one thing, no matter how good you sing if you're not photogenic your odds go down dramatically. I'm sure a lot of good singers get turned away. That's also not the typical way one gets to be a recording artist. There's a good chance you'll spend a lot of time waiting in line to give a short sample of your singing and be told "thanks, next..." but hey if you personally feel a strong urge to give it a try, go for it. However you can't be shy about it. If you want to sing in public then *sing*. Neither the producers nor an audience want to hear your excuses, they want to hear good singing.
