I came up with this neat idea since I have this GPS laying around the house. It has RCA IN and I would like to set it up as a second monitor on my PC so I can read the lyrics when I sing...sorta like the IPAD idea. My PC has HDMI and DVI outputs. How do I do this?
Proably cheaper and easier to get you an Android tablet, what you want is a converter, HDMI to RCA video out. I think it would be easier to get a $100 tablet and copy over the lyrics. Sometime you just have to walk away from old technology. Cheap Tablet example
Well, I just went out and bought a cheap 15" 2004 monitor with VGA for 10 dollars. I guess it's cheaper than the alternatives. Now I gotta find DVI to VGA...again going backwards. And how to mount this.

OK, assume an old flat screen monitor. Otherwise, if it is tube, that is one big a$$ reader. The older monitor may screw with your main monitor, so play with the settings to determine which will allow you to treat the two as separate monitors. Example, I have my TV and computer hooked up, but I have them as duplicate, since they are both wide screen. Just in case you run into some issues.
