Maskthe_face here i just wanted some feedback on a track i recorded the other day. Constructive Criticism is much appreciated. Been writing for almost a year now trying to get better.

P.S track not mixed or mastered, recorded over my phone cuz thats all i had atm.

Pretty good job for a phone. The drums sound really low fi, and I don't get a sense of the mix gelling together - everything seems separated. I hear you struggling for breath with your phrases. It's probably better to record vocal sections then paste them together so you don't drop out when you breath and start a new line.

Thanks, yeah it hasnt been mixed yet I have been waiting to get in the studio for weeks now, still fine tuning alot of things. Agreed, ill definitely be recording vocals first then drop it and mixing it over the instrumental. Appreciate the response. I'll be uploading new tracks to this probably next week.
