Street Spirit (Fade Out) cover - Radiohead. Too much reverb?

I'm not familiar with the original track that you're covering here, so I can't compare the two. For my tastes, your version does sound a bit distant. Did you use the same (or similar) reverb on the guitar and the vocals? I ask because the guitar sounds more "distant" than the vocal--but it could the micing technique as opposed to the reverb used. Also--I'm hearing a tuning issue with the guitar that distracts from the listening pleasure. Nice singing...

Hey.
I don't know that it's too much for this type of song, but it doesn't sound natural to me.
Are you using separate reverbs for guitar and vocal? If so, maybe try using a master reverb since there's nothing else in the mix.

Also, I think your guitar's a little out of tune.

Edit. Just realised a "+1" would have sufficed.

I don't know the original, but yours sounds a bit weird/distant. Did you use a different reverb for the guitar and the voclas? Also, your guitar's out of tune.

Hope this helps.

EDIT:

D'OH!

Ha. Were you making fun, or did you really make the same mistake that I did?

Ah, I was screwing around. When in doubt, don't take me seriously. :)

The reason I asked is because I wasn't sure if "taking the piss" meant getting drunk in this context.
