I googled "how to record guitar reverb" and it directed me to a russian egg farm.

I do love beagles. When my wieners kick the bucket, I'm getting a beagle.

I dozen eggs is 50 Russian Rubles.

That's $1.55 American bucks

.96 limey Pounds

1.14 euro

1.60 Canadian (for Rami)

Can you do the free range, vegetarian, liberty, omega 3 enriched and organic egg prices as well. Miro needs to know... :laughings:

What about Steve and Johnny? Oh wait...different group of limey brats...

Speaking of which, Nevermind the Bollocks is a record where the production significantly changed the way that the band itself sounded. I think it sounds pretty good. For the most part, the production served to enhance and reinforce the sound that they were shooting for. Contrast this with something like Nevermind, where Butch Vig slathered his shiny hair grease all over everything and polished it so that a truly aggressive, powerful, and challenging act fit comfortably into the narrow little box of popular music.

The Pistol's demos aren't really any different than Bollocks. They're not as shiny and polished, but the songs and sounds are pretty much exactly the same. Their live sound was pretty shitty, but their demo recordings are essentially all the same.

Why do you defend them all? Better yet, why don't you use them yourself if they're so valuable?

So then you can't/won't explain why you hate producers so generically and without any exception.

Well, then just hate on them because you don't see what their purpose is.

Wait, I have your permission now? Oh thank you miro! Thank you!

Lol, please. You don't agree with me, and won't agree with me, or even consider my side of it, so fuck it. Why should I answer your loaded questions? Answer mine. Why aren't you using engineers and producers? They're so fucking great, you should be keeping them in your basement chained to each other. Why do you so staunchly defend them? Wait, lol, I know, haha, but I'll let you say it....see if you tell the truth.

My permission. :D
You've never needed that before to tell is what you think.

It was a simple question, ain't nothing "loaded" there.
Either you've had personal experiences that led you to those views....or not.

Hating on anything/anyone that much is usually the result of something.

Okay, I'll pretend that your motives are pure and genuine. But then, does it really matter why I think the way I do? Would my reasoning actually change anything about what you think about it?

You're making it way more complicated than it is. :D

It's got nothing to do with you changing anything or me changing anything...it's just a curiosity.
You obviously wanted it to be known how much you hate the whole notion of producers, so you were looking to make some statement with that view...it's only normal to then get asked about your reasons.
If you can't/won't explain it and/or provide some sort of understandable reason (even if we don't agree on it)...what point are you making then by saying it?

It's just a discussion....and not an interrogation.

Like if you said...."When my band went into the studio, we were forced to work with a producer who wanted to turn our punk sound into R&B, and ever since then I don't like producers"....I could understand that, even if it unfairly stereotypes all producers.

My point couldn't be any clearer. Seriously, do you not understand what I'm saying?

Yes, that's what happened, a producer tried to turn me into a black tap-dancing pretty boy, so now I hate all producers. Nice guess. Now you know. I don't think it unfairly stereotypes anyone though. You might find my dislike of "producers" odd, and that's fine, I find your steadfast defense of them equally odd, almost creepy. So, you gonna explain yourself?

ummm ..... I must have missed something ...... I don't really remember you saying you hate producers per se ..... haven't you simply said that they shouldn't MAKE artists do what they want if it goes against what the artistrs' aims are?

Also ..... you're NOT a black, tap dancing pretty boy? I have to rethink everything now.
