"The Long Autumn's Fall into Winter"

There is scope for a close miked almost whispered vocal in parts but that's not your style I know.
I like it but would rather the title have The Long excised even though the whole title is part of the chorus. I'm obvioulsy a twit but that's OK.
It's cool - particularly as it's a "downmix" from 5.1. That's be hard work.
I've thought about doing a 5.1 mix of a couple of songs but juts haven't managed to do that & my 5.1 gear isn't too flash. On the other hand I have some great Quad gear - it's be nice to mix for that!

I think this is a fine production of a cool song with some personality, meaning unique in a way that I love. I have a hard time myself not ending up with productions that sound formulaic, so original arrangements always impress me. I also second the compliments on the guitars, I love the sound and the performance. I was fooled by the synth girl, which suggests to me that the part is well placed and executed. The only thing I might think of playing with is the kick as it sounded a little muffled to me. I have to qualify that by admitting that I have a problem where I'm always playing with kick and snare sounds, to the point of obsession (OPD-Obsessive Percussion DIsorder?). Anyway, I really enjoyed this, wish I had a surrouns sytem I'd like to hear that version.
