I still don't know what it means, so I'll just leave it as is.
i guess it means you'll leave the guitars sounding more fuzzy, than meaty.

Thanks dobro. I'm funner than midgets fighting monkeys. I don't want to die either, but if I do, I won't care, I'll be dead. I'm one of the people that doesn't pay attention to words. I try to write decent lyrics, but I don't really care and very rarely do I care about anyone else's lyrics. I try to amuse and/or offend in most of my songs, and I only use offense if I can attach some kind of comedy to it. Racism, misogyny, rape, murder, politics, rednecks, mental illness, I'll make fun of it all, including myself. I don't care if it's offensive or insensitive as long as I can amuse myself with it. I try to stay away from typical vapid rock lyrics. But overall, I don't give a shit really. You were 40 in April? Fuck, you must be almost dead by now! Good thing the song's still here. Thank God for bumps. So, did you get any bumps for your birthday? 40 bumps... that must've given someone a back injury...
Like the song a lot. I know people who never pay attention to the words, but I always pay attention to the words. I like the words on this one cuz in the first place they draw my attention effortlessly and in the second place they're real and fun. I never thought of you as fun until I started listening to your music.
Plus the music and the mix sounds really good. I hope you don't die before you're 41.
Got round to giving this a proper listen. Usual good stuff, Greg. Love the backing vocals. I'm listening on headphones and there's a little imbalance in the rhythm guitars. The left channel sounds really good, but the right channel has maybe less low end and it makes it sound higher up (as in towards the ceiling) and it kind of makes it sound less wide on the right side. Might just be my dodgy ear though!
Nice job.

Thank's JD. The two guitar tracks are indeed quite different, and I hear it the same way you do, although I don't find it to be too imbalanced. You're the 2nd person to think that though, so maybe I'll look into it. I'm very used to this thing by now. The left track is a Les Paul played with open chords and powerchords on the low end of the neck. The right channel is my Hallmark 60 Custom Mosrite clone, and it's a single coil guitar being played higher up the neck. They sound vastly different. Maybe too different? I don't know. I'll rethink all of this if it makes the cut for my next album.
It's only a minor niggle and a slight imbalance. Dunno if it's enough of a problem to warrant a change, but it's not quite in keeping with your usual mixing style. It does sound good, it was just a little noticeable.
I'm personally not bothered by the twos sides sounding different.Thank's JD. Nowadays it's considered that it's super important for the two sides to be very equal both in volume levels and spectrum.
I'm not sure why that is ..... a lot of the great albums from the past could be quite imbalanced ...... but I see quite a few complaints whenever anyone does much in the way of creative panning.
I like it myself.
