You're a little boring. You need to be more exciting.

Where you from? India?

How? Just get into it man!

Get excited. Right now, it's almost as if you are reading off a piece of paper.

What was the most exciting thing you have experienced? When you felt this excitement, did you notice your pitch being higher? Your projection being stronger? Your modulation slightly increased?

try to accent the important words. Give it more feeling

use accents to convey importance ergo

WHO'S my bitch
Who's MY bitch
Who's my Bitch

all sound differant depending on accented words

also the pitch change thing crowz suggested is good
The trouble is its not beleivable if you cant put yourself in the place of the writer and relate to it.
Most rapper are angry at there dad and dissapointed with thier lot. I'm not feeling that.
Just my two pence but what do i know.

I am aware i cant sing for toffee but and here comes the problem !!!!!
I love to sing.
People always say are you going to do a vocal whenever i post in the mp3 clinic.
so i feel obliged.
I have a baritone voice so its not really suited to the kind of stuff i've been covering and i myself suffer the same problem as the op.
i always forget to smile

Oh dude....I hope you didn't say all that because of my comment!

You were spot on IMO.
I just really found it funny doing the different emphases out loud.
It gradually went from "I'm fu**ing telling you" to "remind me again?" lol.

BTW. Stick at the vocals. I love hearin em. :)

I'm from Belfast man. Everything comes out like durdle-urdle-urdle-ur! :p

no man i am also aware i'm improving.
No need to feel bad.
Part of my problem is i know i'm pitchy which makes me nervous and its a viscious circle.
I will keep working at it thanks for the encouragement btw
I want to help the op i always have and i'm sure in time he will be way better.
I admire Atifkt's determination. Keep going mate

So, we coo'? :p

Atifkt, I think Kips right. You have the timing down and from a skill point of view, yes, you're good at rapping.

Just relax and get into it.
Sometimes I think it's hard to sing a cover convincingly because usually I haven't a clue what it's about, whereas if you wrote the words, it's easier to get into them.
Do you write?

Of course we're cool dude
I just did another pitchy cover today and i guess it struck a chord when i listened back on soundcloud.
I just need to remember sometimes that this is home recording and i do it for fun.
To keep me from wanting to gig (as a bass player or guitarist like i used to) and keep me out of the pub or some other rubbish hobbys.
I've always loved music and that why i do it.

Are you really from Belfast?!? Where is Blue Eyes at :-)

Bout 8 miles from it.

You know, I did actually start Blue eyes, and it sucked, so I bailed out.
I've done that a fair few times. A lot of tracks just don't sound good when I do them.

No smart assed comments please! :p

yes i write. But right now i do covers so i can grow up my fanbase. How to get the timing correct as you know you cant get the feeling and get into it in cover songs.

 get a facebook account lol or even better go on twitter that should swell your FANBASE

you cant get the feeling and get into it in cover songs.

Yes you can you just have to relate something from your life to the feel of the emotion portrayed in the song.

I think what everyone here saying about getting into your rapping is ... you would have to have commitment and determination that you are good and that will convince your listeners/watchers that you are good.

For instance - take a look at PSY. Here we have a plump little Korean guy that nearly passes as a file clerk and he has it going on.

Watch and learn.

u mean being confident about rapping and not be concerned of haters ?
