I have to be loud while recording?

I have to rap loud while recording in my Microhone. I dont have an interface. I connect my xlr mic. to the 3.5mm jack in my pc soundcard. Will getting an interface solve the problem? Will i have to rap normally after getting it?
 
The monitor knob/control on a USB interface can be used to adjust the volume of your vocals versus the volume of previously recorded track.

Almost definitely, yes.
Any interface with a mic preamp built in will have a gain control to adjust how much the microphone's signal is amplified.
Turn that up a little and you should get a much healthier signal.

I should try that. The sight of my 60 year old butt would probably scare some of them into silence for hours--and, if we both do it, it'd keep them confused.
