Wait a minute...how did The Whotards get in here? :D

By request, by me..... RAMI and I were going back and forth, kcearl brought it up and I asked for the link when I couldn't find it. Killer job.

Lol. Thanks. I'm actually mixing a complete cover album right now of random covers I've done over the years. I'm just gonna give it away when it's done.

Ya can't get a decent thread going without someone mentioning the Tards. :(

They're like the Beatles. John, Paul, Cearl, and Grego.:D

Great to see you back, Greg. After not seeing you around for a while, I went and checked your last post, and it happened to be a joke about pirating software. I thought you got banned for it.

Lol! Thanks, and no ban this time, I was just on a family vacation. :)

Amazing guitar work RAMI, intricate and precise. I'm not going to go find the orig as this one is uber cool and that would spoil my enjoyment. :D
No mix issues here - I like the tones and tightness throughout and the reverb levels sound good to me.

Thanx a lot Ido. Maybe if you listen to my version a few times until you get used to it, then go listen to their version, theirs will sound like a cheap cover. :D

That is some nice work, RAMI. Really enjoyed this version -especially the little piano ditty lead-in.

Sorry for the late reply.

Not much. Caught a few keeper specks and reds. Nothing big or spectacular.
I used to fish a lot as a kid. I still remember getting excited about getting a new rod and reel. I think I once caught a little trout or something, but my fishing career resume is full of Perch and Sunfish. :(

It's not for everyone. Some people hate it or have no interest, and i can understand that. It can be boring. I'm happy and at peace when I'm chasing fish. I used to fish golf course lakes as a kid when I couldn't catch a ride to the saltwater. I'd ride my bike for miles and miles hauling gear to find a new honey-hole. On the golf courses, old fucks would come up to me and say shit like "boy, you aint gonna catch no fish in here" then I'd pull up my stringer full of bass and look at em like STFU bitch. :D

I was a badass 11 yr old. It's been all downhill ever since. :laughings:

This thread has it all. Rock, The Stones, The Tards, and fishing!!!!

Can't beat dat.

:D

So rad. I love it when people choose to cover the "less popular" songs. Well, so to speak. This is fantastic. It has some decent depth to my ears. The vocals kind of sound like they might be sitting a little lower then they should be maybe?

Thanx Shan.

You might be right. I haven't listened to this in a couple of weeks. I'll go back to it and I'm sure any mix issues will hit me right away, after having time off from it.

I missed all the fish talk entirely. I enjoyed fishing immensely when i was kid. Then i found other things to do. I did however take up the rod and reel again this June, and caught my first Northern Pike and a tonne of Walleye. The pike put up a bit of stink compared to the perch and catfish I caught back home on the East Coast.

I gave it a second listen Rami after adjusting my monitors a bit and i have no idea what i was talking about. Your vocals are great right where they are. It would seem my left monitor has a tendency to drop out not sure what is going on there. Luckily for Rokkit my warranty is up so i just have to deal with it i suppose.

Hehe....No worries man. I do have a tendency of mixing my vocals a little low, so I'll listen for that if/when I re-mix this.

I don't know how obscure this Stones song is,...

I play it every week on the jukebox at the pool hall! One of my favorite songs. I've never considered it obscure at all! I also considered covering it myself, as well as reviewing it with my daughter who plays piano. She likes it. She's 13. I love the Stones and all that old sh!t...!

This cover is very excellent. all around. Your covers always always put me in a state of awe and shame simultaneously, but you rock and I'm admittedly a little rusty! Makes me want to practice and spin up the 24 track to beef up my productions. All as yet TBD.

Rock On! I'll always be a huge fan of your covers.

:spank::eek:;)
