I used to track the drums last. It worked, but I always felt strange about it. It just seems logically backwards to me, but I know it's not really a big deal. It's just a comfort thing to me. I have a pretty limited drum vocabulary so I don't think I could ever overdrum a part, but I have been leaning back to simplicity overall. Maybe it's boredom or laziness. I don't know. I just haven't been feeling like doing anything special, and I'm quite happy about it. Lol. I listen back to some of the stuff I wrote 5 or 6 years ago, and it's much busier than what I'm currently writing. I guess I'm reverting back to my true-blue punk rock roots. Most people move forward, I go backwards. :laughings:

I JUST read an article about the making of Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' ...... they did the drumbs last there too. Said they did it because the songs weren't settled until all the git and bass parts and such were finished. They kept changing them so they just waited until they had it finished before doing the drums.

I can see that for them though. And it works. Def Leppard drums don't even sound like drums. Lol. They do so much studio trickery and 100 tracks of layers that it probably doesn't even matter at that point.

Yep, got it done, & done really well!
I only heard the last couple of versions but snare has to raise hair so I'm glad it's where it is.
Another RAMI tune for the player. I look forward to the new CD.

Nice RAMI really nice. I like the tempo/groove of this song.

Thanx Ray. Took a while to get it there this time, but I'm glad I finally put this away....for a while. :)
