Stawl, I apologize for mentioning your MIDI stuff. I didn't know you were so sensitive about it.

I don't mind you "mentioning" it. I even posted a clip in response so that the rest of the clique could judge for themselves. Just don't get all sandy when I point out, and then prove beyond any doubt why your comments are an OT slam, not a critique of the clip presented. I never complained about your hearing some mysterious buzz in the clip presented for review. I suggested some possible causes. That exchange was at least marginally constructive.

Okay let's move on....

Stawl, can you post the solo'd track that includes the mysterious buzz?

I remember his 'MIDI' stuff back around 12 yrs ago. It was different, but even with some healthy doses of studying composition, I was still hard pressed to understand why certain notes were used. There is ALWAYS an explanation of why...even if it's just "because". [new thought] But, I don't think rattles etc detract from music, if it's OK stuff. Segovia was one of the few that hated string squeak and horrid fret buzz. Listen to EVH...it's horrid in that regard.

By EVH you mean Eddie Van Halen I guess, I just watched a few acoustic things they have on you tube and it is freakin horrid! for such a phenom electric guy.

I hate squeeks and buzzes too. People who play my guitars always say the action is too high.

You are welcome to apply all those healthy doses of composition knowledge to the piece that I posted in its entirety on page three. Are you really that hard-pressed? Gergle claimed it was random. I beg to differ being the composer.

Anyhoo, the link doesn't work for me, do you have some other way to post it up?
Plus everyone PLEASE just chill the F out, we are on the verge of all getting along here,
from what I've read it would be a HR first.

I like Dok's stuff. It's sort of mind-frame specific, You're there or you ain't at any given time...

HR.con has disabled the file I've uploaded by changing it to a .gif file from an .mp3 and uploads for my account have been disabled. It worked yesterday. I tested it. But that was before they disabled it. Sorry! Blame management.

Looking at the top thread I see this isn't the first time this problem has cropped up. But since I used the identical platform to upload the acoustic clip and the MIDI clip, no such excuse as, "your browser is wrong" will hold water among the conscious.

I had the same problem.
My workaround was to open an account on a file hosting website (dropbox) and upload my files to there.
It was free and has worked admirably for linking to my music files.
Any chance you would consider doing the same?
I (and I'm sure others here) would still like to hear it.
