so steenamaroo linked me to these and I want to know a good way of putting them up? any suggestions?

good call Steen nice price too
Make a simple wooden frame (or get one of your friends to do it for you) it doesnt have to be anything fancy.
Just a bit of 4x1" screwed at the corners with some sort of wooden triangle bracket on the back so the frame stays sqaure.
slap some picture frame hooks on the back.
Nail or screw fitting in the wall and hang it up you should have some nice braodband absorbers.
theres loads of examples of how to make on you tube or even in the studio build section here.
have fun Ollie

okay thanks, Im trying to find ways to avoid it because it looks like effort but I guess that'll have to be done :) I am in it for the long term anyway so I would probably be doing it at some point anyway, best get started early :)

Oh i forgot to mention cover them in a breathable fabric to stop the fibres getting airborn in the room.
You can even use a palin cotton sheet to cover them and fabric paint them after to make them a bit more arty.
lots of people use burlap material
Eg a picture of the Rev (whoever that is)

ROCKWOOL AND ROLL !!!!!!

hahaaa, what about a duvet cover? or do I need something designed for it?

A thinish fabric will suffice. I think they usually say something you can breath through and feel the air come out of the otherside.
It doesnt have to be dense ( i suggested cotton sheets because you can buy them cheap at dunhelm mill or some such or online and choose the colours to suit your room so that mum/wife /g/f will not object or as i say fabric paint them to make designer style ones ) or reflective (not paper or card or plastic) ok.

here you go for example

Would it be sensible to say you want something that you can hold over a speaker and not really notice a huge difference, or have a missed the point?

Someone else found that link but I can't remember his name to credit him.

Good info Kip,
Cheers.

That was me. They do charge £25 delivery, but it's still the cheapest I could find without having to drive across the country or buy £500 worth.
