I listened to SOS

I would LPF those guitars and bring them down some, drums and bass are pretty much buried.

Vocal sounds about right, some pitchy-ness at the end.

Thanks for sharing your stuff.

It's been a while...
Listened to SOS...
I don't have a prob with the bass & drum levels. Maybe a little 3K definition in the bass?
Nice chime to the guitars.
I didn't actually hear any pitchiness - well nothing grabbed my attention as being out.
I liked it, cool stuff - I reckon it'd be a blaze live!

Thanks guys.

Yeah, they guitars are a bit loud, but they sound great to me. The drums and bass were not recorded all that well, so they aren't as prominent. I don't think they are totally buried though.

As far as the "definition" on the bass, I cranked it all I could. It was recorded thru a little battery powered portable guitar amp with like a 5" speaker or something. I told the guy that recorded the tracks to just DI the bass next time.... :D

If anyone likes Floyd, give a listen to "Is anybody out there". (you have to click on "see all 10 songs")

Thanks!

I listened to SOS, Anybody out There, Searchin', and White Line. The drums (snare) only sounded low in SOS, but I don't know if I'm qualified to judge. Overall, it sounds great, I like the loud guitars, and also everything very clear in the mix, and well performed. I never seem to be able to get this level of clarity in my mixes. Things sound either too thin, or muddy.
