C
Nobody?
The reason why,
Oh, I can say,
I have to let you go, babe.
And right away.
After what you did
I can't stay on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.
Baby, for a long time
You had me believe
That your love was all mine
And that's the way it would be.
But I didn't know
That you were putting me on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.
Now, I've got to say
That it's not like before,
And I'm not gonna play
Your games any more.
After what you did
I can't stay on.
And I'll probably feel a whole lot better
When you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone.
Oh, when you're gone
Thanx so much!!!I dig that old tune..rock on man..
I only listened to the remastered version.
The first notes are kinda weird, it kinda hits you out of nowhere.
Sounds like Tom Petty singing (I like)!
The snare reverb is too intense I think. The snares are panned a little to hard left for me.
The guitars get a little mixed up. The panning helps separate them, but they are in the same frequency range and similiar tone. Change one to another tone, clean up both of them, and I think the guitar sound will be a lot nicer. The problem just gets messier when the solo guitars come in. They just sound a little sloppy to me...not the playing, but the mixing and tones.
Nice song cool cover.
dang...41 mgs to open.. no way to stream an mp3? .... yeah, I like audio quality too...but not surfing in forums like this.. Too big a file.
ok... I [painfully] d/l and played the file while surfing elsewhere. Definately Tom Petty. ... either good or bad.. but sounds like an old bootleg where he picks up a Ric and the reverb choices where wrong. Otherwise, pretty cool.
Thanx so much! You sound exactly like Tom Petty! That's pretty incredible, I love Tom Petty!
I totally thought it was Tom Petty, and you were joking.![]()
