I am lost, I have been using Mixcraft to produce my first songs but i feel like it does not offer enough. I kind of want better effects for my voice. The same thing happens with Pro Tools. It doesn't give out what i need and im using the SE edition. Does anyone have any decent software reccomendations? I mostly produce hip hop

What is it that you want to hear?

Post up some samples of what you're aiming at. There might be specific effects or techniques that you're missing.

This sounds like more of a delay effect with some reverb on it. This can be done with pro tools using the delay plug ins. What you will have to do is use sends on your vocal track and send to multiple delays set to different timings. Whether you want quarter note or half note, etc delays, then mix to taste.

alright i will try that. so i use delays that have the send options?

Not exactly, on your vocal track I take it, there is a spot under the inserts section where you can send the signal to a stereo aux track. On the aux track just insert a delay plug and that should get you going.
