There are a few sections i could of put this and I didn't know what one to choose.
I am an average singer and i want to record a song kind of similar to mike posner ( deep half rap half singing).
I just want to know what effects/techniques i could use to make my recordings sound a lil better, i want to try and steer clear of auto tune as much as possible, Tyga does this a lot, he is an average singer but sounds decent in his songs. The chorus in this song for example.

Any help is appreciated
(sorry if that this is in the wrong thread :o)

Any general EQ. I sometime use a slight delay to flesh out vocals. And I never use Autotune. Personally I prefer Melodyne. Sometimes A choruss effect that offers a vocal spread can be handy too.

What software are you using? Experiment with EQ, listen to the changes.

Hey there, Im using Sonar 9LE, That Melodyne software looks promising.
