I play around on a Roland TD4 set I have - it's a lot of fun but I am not very good. That's OK though - I'm not trying to win a Grammy :p I wouldn't use my playing on a track, that would just be a cluster

Is EZ only good at simulating real acoustic drums or does it have a little of the more "techo-ish" new electronica stuff too? It is does, I'll totally get it. Just never been able to find out! :(

There is an electronic expansion patch here $59 from Amazon. Need to buy the program as well as the expansion pack.

Got EZDrummer today- ran the install and FAIL!

Found the error on the site and downloaded a new installer - hopefully this one will work.

Download fixed it - and it's AWESOME :D :D :D

the mixer is sweet - overhead/room mics - man...

What the fuck, someone spams the forum with a sale for ez drummer and it's all good.

I post a link to some fucking free tutorials (that are normally $60 from a legit site) and get blown in as a spammer.

BFD eco is also on sale for $29 jerks.

IDK who blew you but it wasn't me :) I am not spamming for EZ drummer, I just thought it was a very low price and thought some other people might want to know about it. Last time i looked into it the cost was almost $200

Whats eco?

I would never blow you in, and definitely would never think you were a spammer dood. :D

I am curious what happened so I can lash out in your defense. Yer one of the good ones here.

Oh, and what's the link? Tutorials for what? I likes me sum tootorials. :)

Haha, I have no idea what douche blew me in, but it was in this sub forum back when I first started posting (although I had a good 30 posts in when I posted the thread). But the free vids are long gone and it resulted in the removal of my original sig and that thread. They were REALLY good videos though (on any DAW you can think of), shit you can't get on you tube so their loss for being asses.

They thought I worked for Steinberg. :laughings:

And BFD Eco can be done digitally if you don't want to ship a boxed version. Addictive Drums is also on sale for $99. I would post the link to the place that has it (probably till the end of the month) but again burned once learned once. If you want to know what online store has it I'll do it via PM.

BFD Eco is little bit more on the rock end of things but sounds good, the kits are DW and Pork Pie (as well as some others but those are my favorite) But it was a cool buy for 30 bucks and it's on sale till the end of the year.

Also, I put together a thread over on HC that has examples of a lot of the libraries we are talking about in here (I have acquired a lot of drum libraries over the past few years on sale).

Thread can be seen here: Lots and Lots of drum software audio examples

damn i would have bought the dl version but I thought it said Eco was only available via mail! Still a good deal. Ill check out the other thread too.

I've only ever recorded real drums, so I don't know how all of this midi/electronic/program stuff works. Can you get an electronic kit, and get EZ drummer to put its samples on your hits ? I've seen people programming on EZ drummer and this one other program (don't remember the name) and they sounded not so bad.

Yup. That is how arcadeko's drummer does his. Well, he will be soon anyway. :D

Yeah this is how I do it. I use a Roland.

It's a trillion times better than the crap that comes out of the module.
