Piezo On Kick?

Just a thought that came to my mind,
Did anybody ever tried putting(attaching?) a piezo pickup on the kick as if it is an acoustic guitar?

It should be good

I've been thinking about this for a few months. Fortunately, my friends that drum for me haven't been around !
When you've tried it, let us know what it sounds like. I'm genuinely curious.

That's what a kick trigger is. It just sounds like plastic.

Here is a Dean Markley Artist XM transducer sample. First half is attached to drum shell. Second half is hanging over boom stand in center of kick. Definitely usable as a trigger. Not much else.
