I would think the clocks have their own built in time keeping but I don't know for sure.
Anyone got a handle on this?

The so-called clocks in digital gear are crystal or PLL controlled square wave generators, not time-of-day clocks. They're powered by regulated DC current. So no, they most likely won't be affected.
