The reference to a jewel in raw form gives a mixed message - most are barely recognisable until cleaned, ground & cut. Phrases such as "a diamond in the rough" are usually in reference to hidden, latent or obscured brilliance.
Nevertheless, pretty tidy production - the voice is much clearer after the change at about 2mins. The refernce to garments & compartments seems a little materialistic (pun intended).
I don't really get the "noire" reference. Is it in terms of cinematics, german expressionsism or race? You did use the feminine spelling of the word so it could be construed as an adjective describing a female - BUT, I don't know.
As I said = nicely put together sound wise.
I'm glad to say it's good. I'd be happy to have stuff like this coming out of my operation. I'd bring up the level of the chorus vocals though. They sound good. Bring 'em up.
