I wasn't planning on shipping them so will have to go hunting for a box. I'll get back to y'all shortly.

well ...... shipping and boxing really is a pain in the ass.
Since you're trying to do a good deed here, isn't there a school nearby that might have a young music guy that could get some nice listening out of them?
I mean, I'd take 'em just 'cause, rather than let them go to goodwill and I would use them. ..... but why go to the effort when you won't be making any money?
GOT TO be some youngster around there that could use them.
 
:D Better still send one to Lt. and one to me and I'll find some really long cable to hook them up for the largest stereo field monitor system in the world!!!!! we can face them toward Europe and crank it real loud for their listening pleasure!!!!!!! :D

It's too bad that shipping would be such a killer on these... I'm using headphones and a crappy set of computer speakers as my main monitoring outfit and then running around and testing my mixes in several different cars, home stereos and headphones to see how it sounds, taking notes all the while. I think my friends are getting tired of hearing my half-finished songs. lol!

I tried a few weeks back but the kind of losers who responded were just scary, but that may be the way to go... was really hoping to help out somebody here. This board has given me so much over the years, ya know?

Yeah Nate I know how you feel.

You should make one last ditch effort and break a rule here and double post the FREE monitors in the newbie section for I have noticed it takes a while for most to venture out of that forum.
Don't know why except for the fact that I think that most just have that forum booked marked and don't even know that the rest of the site even exist!

i live in Chicago i am a high school student and able to prove it. About how much shipping to 60631.

Put me on the list as one who'll take them if nobody else does. I suppose I don't really need them as I do have monitors, but they would be great to have as a fairly flat second (or third) opinion.
I'll definitely let them go to Lt. Bob first, though. I can always try to talk him out of them later. :D

Hi! I'm a college student at CSULB (in Long Beach, CA) and I would love to take these monitors. I'm really getting into recording but I don't have any monitors at all right now. I can email you proof if they are still available.
 
I just bought a pair of these locally for 220! People should jump on these!
