Unpossible!
So, as many of you have seen in the video clinic, we recorded our last gig. We have a couple pretty good videos, and now we are working on releasing a "bootleg" live EP from the show. The actual CD will have track markers, but for right now, it's one mp3 file. If anybody is brave enough to download and listen to it, I'd appreciate any feedback.

Thanks!

:D

EDIT - just wanted to add a warning - there is some pretty extensive profanity (towards the end especially)

Downloading now - I'll listen later as I have to drive my produsah (aka daughter) to work then take my boss (aka wife) to dinner.

Wow - that's a pretty damn great mix for live. Nice crowd :-) and interaction!
General comments... The mix (maybe the vocals?) was a bit dry for me, noticeable in the beginning and when the left guitar hits the echo.
The toms poked out a bit about 20 minutes in "Bridges/Choices?" but damn that's "live".
I found the left guitar was a tiny bit louder in the first three quarters of the mix. The right guitar would balance out towards the last quarter. Could be my crappy ears though - staring at my neck in front of a Marshall too long lol.
Every so often I wondered...would I have panned that lead center???? Would it sound too obvious?
The recording quality was good - nicely even and balanced , nice difference between guitars, thumpy and tight bass, the drums sounded awesome (I kept thinking that). Top notch playing/singing by everyone, pleasure to listen to. Hmm I'll guess an HD24 lol...

Awesome! Thank you so much for listening. I had the vocal a bit wetter, but it started to sound to separate from the mix, and started to lose the "live" feel.

It was recorded straight of the FOH board with a couple MOTU's. (it was my buddies rig). We are totally pleased with how it came out. Better than we expected.

If you haven't seen the videos, they are in the video section. They came out fantastic.

Thanks again!
