I found this sticker and I don't know what its for - does anyone recognize this logo?

it's dynamite, apparently it's how they dealt with The Non-Essential Tales And Poems Of Edgar Allan Poe
 
Yeah, it's the detonator that you used to see in cartoons like Roadrunner and Tom & Jerry. They'd blow things up with it.

It's a pretty cool looking sticker and I was going to put it on a guitar case or something but I don't know wtf it is. I mean - I know it looks like a cartoon dynamite plunger... But it's too stylized to just be art for arts sake, it has to be a company logo.

I don't want to be somewhere and someone says - "so why do you have that dildo companies sticker on your guitar case?"
 
Don't stick it on anything!!!!!!

Until you research it more it could be worth a bit of money that way ... and could net you a possible new guitar or microphones with the sale on antiques ebay.

I know a Batman trask can goes for $250. + when the market is right!
 
I don't think it's old or rare - I think it's just unknown...
 
I have actually seen it around somewhere before, just can't remember where...

It's also been an interesting exercise in googling terms like "DD dynamite" on a company PC.... hmmm... :eek: whoops :laughings:

It's the logo for 'Dynamite Dildo's', there's a shop near me, apparently the're the best around. :)

It's origin will remain unknown, until just after he sticks it on something. Then, someone will see it on his guitar case, and exclaim, "Wow, you got a DD sticker! Man, I've been LOOKING for one of those for years! Got any more? I'll give you a hundred dollars for one that hasn't been used!"

And of course, he will only have had that one...

I spent a lot of time in google image search... DD is a great search term.

It also reminds me of Marvin the Martian

I win.

An image search found that logo in a picture. However, I am at work and I can't go to the page or link to it.
The page is called something like "my first bong dynamite distributions" and it's on a forum called grasscity.com

I'm not sure what it is exactly that they distribute, but the info I provided should get you on the right track to finding out more.
